Kingdom Built Motors was created around a simple idea: a professionally built engine should come with more than a parts list and someone’s word that it was done right.
That philosophy is the foundation of Kingdom Built Motors.

Lannie Duncan
Lannie Duncan is a master-certified automotive technician with more than 15 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry.
His career has been built around diagnosing, repairing and rebuilding complex gasoline and diesel powertrains, where accuracy and attention to detail are not optional. Along the way, additional experience in welding and CNC machining helped shape a broader understanding of how components are designed, manufactured, measured and assembled.
Kingdom Built Motors grew from that background and from a desire to build engines at a level where the workmanship can be seen—not just promised.
The goal is not simply to assemble an engine that runs.
The goal is to build an engine whose clearances, components, machining, assembly and testing can be documented and understood years after it leaves the shop.
Craftsmanship philosophy
The details are the build.
An engine is the result of hundreds of individual decisions.
Bearing clearance. Ring gap. Cylinder condition. Fastener preparation. Torque procedure. Component selection. Cleanliness. Machine work. Final inspection.
Any one of those details may seem small by itself. Together, they determine the quality of the finished engine.
Kingdom Built Motors approaches every build with the belief that the work behind the finished product matters just as much as what the engine looks like when it is complete.
That means measuring instead of assuming.
Documenting instead of relying on memory.
And building every engine with the expectation that someone may want to know exactly what is inside it years from now.
Engine Passport
A build record that stays with the engine.
The KBM Engine Passport was created because an engine’s history usually disappears the moment it changes hands.
A seller may say an engine was rebuilt. A customer may receive a list of parts. A few photographs might survive.
But the measurements, machining history, assembly records and actual details of the build are often gone.
Kingdom Built Motors takes a different approach.
Every qualifying KBM engine receives a permanent serialized Build ID and a digital Engine Passport connected to that exact engine.
The record can document its components, machine work, precision measurements, assembly verification, testing, photographs and verification history.
The physical QR Passport connects the engine to that permanent record.
So whether the engine is with its first owner or changes hands years later, its documented build history can remain with it.
Long-term vision

Kingdom Built Motors is being built for the long term.
The vision is a complete performance operation capable of taking an engine from raw core through machining, precision assembly, testing and final verification, while also supporting custom fabrication and performance vehicle projects.
But growth will not come at the expense of the standards behind the work.
The Engine Passport system, the documentation process and the attention to detail being established now are intended to scale with the company.
